History
Bartın University Institute of Social Sciences was established in 2008-2009 academic year with the law number 5765 dated 22 May 2008.
Our Institute started its education and training activities in 2011-2012 Fall semester with graduate programs in Economics and Business Administration.
Institute of Social Sciences has accept students for the programs listed below:
· Department of Physical Education and Sports
· Department of Entrepreneurship
· Department of Economics
· Department of Business Administration
· Department of Political Science and Public Administration
· Department of Basic Islamic Sciences
· Department of Turkish Language and Literature
· Department of Management Information Systems
As of July 2017, we have a total of 470 graduate students, including 263 Master with Thesis, 181 Master without Thesis and 26 Ph.D. A total of 51 students from our programs have been graduated. The Institute of Social Sciences continues its academic life by researching, questioning, possessing cultural values, aiming to raise universal thinkers, and continuing to improve on this path every day.
